1. What this is
Police Sergeant Exam (policesergeantexam.co.uk) is an independent revision site for the College of Policing legal exams in England and Wales: the National Police Promotion Framework (NPPF) step two sergeants' and inspectors' legal exams and the National Investigators' Exam (NIE). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the College of Policing, the Home Office, any police force or Oxford University Press (publisher of the Blackstone's Police Manuals). It does not register you for any exam and does not replace your force's promotion process or the official candidate handbook.
Not legal advice. The questions, explanations and guides are revision material written from the primary law (legislation.gov.uk and the PACE Codes of Practice). They are not legal advice and must not be relied on for operational decisions. The exams test the law as set out in the current Blackstone's manuals: check every point against your manual and the official College of Policing information. Exam dates, formats and pass marks can change; always confirm them on college.police.uk.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox: it is how you prove you own the subscription. One subscription is for one person; don't share sign-in links.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months) in pounds sterling, billed by Stripe. Prices shown include any VAT due.
- It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for a short grace period (3 days) while Stripe retries; after that it switches off until payment succeeds.
- Prices can change; we'll email you before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Your right to cancel and refunds
Pro is digital content supplied straight away. At checkout you ask us to start supplying it immediately and acknowledge that, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you lose the 14-day right to cancel once access begins. We still refund a charge if you contact contact@bisaitechnologies.com within 14 days of it and you hadn't used Pro since a first subscription, were charged twice, were charged after cancelling, had an accidental renewal you haven't used since (reported within 7 days), or hit a technical fault we couldn't fix within 7 days. There is no pass guarantee: we can't control the official exam, and a failed exam is not a reason for a refund on its own. Full details are in our refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't copy, scrape, resell or republish the questions, explanations or notes; they are our original work and protected by copyright. Don't try to bypass the paywall or disrupt the service.
6. Liability
The service is provided for exam revision. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, exam fees, lost income, promotion outcomes, the outcome of any exam or any decision taken in reliance on the content, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality).
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the mandatory consumer protections of where you live always apply.
